Leave it at least 30 years

A view of Loch Morlich in The Highlands

It’s Christmas Eve, and I’m finally slowing down a bit for the year. 2025 has been BUSY and I’m ending it in a way that I would not have imagined 12 months ago. There are many upsides to making your own thing, but one downside is that there’s no boss telling you it’s ok to stop, so I feel guilty stopping 😅

I have loved growing the podcast, speaking with so many of you online and speaking to over 50 new guests. I hope you’ve enjoyed all the episodes released this year, I’ve got two more lined up before the calendar flips over to 2026.

Today, in a mid week episode, Martin Ellard talks about the zines he sent me of his personal work, and on Sunday Julia Coddington will talk to me about her street photography.

I have a number of guests lined /lining up for the new year and maybe even the return of an old friend.

It’s a busy season so I’ll keep this one brief and try to come back with something profound and fun in the new year. Have a wonderful Christmas break if you celebrate, message me with your new cameras, guest suggestions, or tales of photographic adventures and if you’re bored over the holidays remember that your family members can subscribe to the show and might even like a Prime Lenses Umbrella 😂
