What’s coming up in September on Prime Lenses

Hey everyone! Happy September, here's a quick update on what's coming to the show in the coming weeks.

This weekend I'll be joined by Jocelyn Bain Hogg, talking about his work photographing some of the most notorious crime families in London. Dangerous and exciting work that you can see in person if you're in London before Wednesday. This episode was recorded in person and I think sounds great as a result.

Loch Garten was beautiful and still

The following week I'll bring you my conversation with Graham Niven, a landscape and wildlife photographer who lives in the same village as me. He's a lovely chap and we went for a walk around a local loch on a misty and very midgie morning last week. His work is superb and you should check it out if you get the chance.

Three weeks from now we'll enjoy the company of Singapore sensation Geoff Ang who recorded with me this morning, and have other recordings this week with Anthony P Leslie who has shot on film sets for recent movies like The Drama and Spider-Man Brand New Day, and with Daria Alex Ziobinski, a fine art portrait photographer I've wanted to chat to for a long time.

I'm so excited to speak to these folks and share their ideas on making and creativity with you all.

Oh and I'm leading another Foto Walk with the folks over at Foto this month on the 26th September. If you're in the Inverness area, feel free to sign up and join us. It promises to be a fun wander around, there'll probably be cake at the end :)

And lastly, in October I have a very special guest lined up talking about a very personal film photo project. You're going to love it, more nearer the time I think. For now I'll simply wish you all a splendid start to the month. Nights are starting to draw in here and leaves are starting to fall from the trees. Get those last outdoor dry washes done while you still can.
